Flintstone Water Wheel
Our Watershed Moment.
This 19th-century water wheel from a historic mill was New Blue’s inaugural project shortly after Stuart Gaines founded the company in August 2008. The restoration effort involved rebuilding the old wooden wheel and flume and refurbishing the metal working components. It also set the pattern for New Blue’s emphasis on out-of-the-ordinary carpentry, research, problem-solving, and pride in hands-on work.
