Tremont Tavern

Soon after its doors opened, Tremont Tavern quickly became a beloved fixture of the Northshore neighborhood. When the owner decided to expand, we were tasked with improving and enlarging the spaceā€“but importantly, with keeping the cozy vibe its regulars love.

Working with architects at Cogent Studio, we added 1,000 square feet of space by punching through a wall into the adjoining building. Then we installed a new commercial kitchen, remodeled the existing bathrooms, and updated the storefront with a roll-up garage door. Most importantly, we used reclaimed wood and expert woodworking techniques to create a custom bar, bench seating, wainscoting, and other trim accents. All essential for making the expanded space as warm, welcoming, and laid-back as the original.
